Welcome! It is with great pleasure to extend to you the initial invite to the 2018 Family Reunion. Soon to come will be your formal invitations via mail. You’re being invited because YOU are a direct descendant of the Dagan 9! Over the months, I, LaToyta, Rev. Robert Barnes and a few others have reached out to the various ones of you and we are ever so grateful of your willingness to be a part of the 1st EVER (known) Dagans, Daggans, Dagins, and Daggins family reunion! As you probably immediately noticed, many of you on this group sur names are spelled differently but with diligent research (11 years to be exact), records determined and PROVE, we ALL came from ONE (the same) family tree! The 2018 Family Reunion is compromised of the following descendants:

6. Radie Jean Dagins (Barnes-Hill)
7. Veti/Veta Daggins
8. John L. Holloway (who is a Dagins but born before the marriage of his parents)
9. Levi Daggins
……………each of which are the children of Louis Dagans and Leslie Holloway-Dagans of rural Lawrence County.
Reunion Date: LABOR DAY WEEKEND 2018 (1 day event; -SATURDAY) in Hattiesburg, MS at the Oak Grove Community Center.
We encourage you to spread the word to other family members (and feel free to invite them onto this electronic event) so that they too can be a part of ALL the forthcoming updates and communications pertaining to our reunion. With some creativity and ADVANCE planning, we can organize a memorable family reunion that EVERYONE will talk about for years. Who wouldn't want THAT, right? To do this, we need YOU! It's crucial to form a reunion committee and this means VOLUNTEERS. I urge involvement from ALL the family trees. In addition to my co-coordinator, I have 4 other volunteers for the committee (Stesha, Ava, Tanya and Candace). Rest assured a family our size, there's MUCH to be done, and we can use your skills. ((smiles))
Tentative Micro-Reunion Committees:
Social Events, Food Services/Catering (1 volunteer), Hospitality/Hosting, Kid Entertainment (1 volunteer), Photography, Health and Wellness, Music/DJ Station, T-shirts, Booklet/Program Creation and Printing, and Clean-Up/Set-up/Tear-down crew (this should be minor although still needed per the intent is the have the venue to provide the bulk of this). As you see, we have many areas in which your skill set can be used. Keep in mind, all though this is volunteering......it is a very important task and WILL require you to be well organized, TIMELY and most of all COMMITTED. Peace and blessings to all.
